motivation...
is finally back.
So after taking an extended break that eventually lasted until spring break I am back to the bloggers grind.
So yesterday I was loungin' around watchin' t.v. and playing PS3 when I remembered the Gumball 3000. If you have never heard of it then i suggest you click the link...gumball3000.com. It's basically a 3000 mile marathon rally that is limited to exclusive and rare cars. It also has a nice entry fee of $44,000.00 per car. The guys at rogue status ran in the 2008 and actually won the overall trophy with a damn Scion Xb...that could have been you SAmmy...beating out a field of lambo's and high powered luxury cars.
So I have made it my life's mission to take part in the rally...so unless they start excpeting o8' altimas then it's gonna be awhile.

Cold
Just recieved my new DC's along with a couple of shirts from SneakTip and FreshJive. All courtesy of karmaloop.com and blackfriday sales. Pardon the quality...I'm still stuck using the camera on my IPhone. I'm liking the new kicks but too many people think that they bite off the style of AirJordan elephant print...but Jordans' are way to overrated and played out. Understood that they are a big part of the shoe game...but I've never really thought they were worth the hype(or cost).
Hit the studio with my boys Eazzy and DJ MattaFact(SSG) over the weekend...and accomplished nothing. One thing that I did learn was that Eazzy should not be allowed to play with autotune...ever!
whatchaknowbout.wordpress.com but it seems he has decided to go on a hiatus due to final exams. So I have decided to let it be known that everyone who hasn't already should go ahead and download Da Drought Is Over pt. 6. I know that most people love Lil Wayne's commercial hits but his mixtapes are where he shows his true lyrical prowess. Da Drought also showcases the Young Money roster(mainly Jae Millz) who can definately rock an ill verse.

The Night Life
is definitely something I need to get in the very near future.
I think that everyone can admit to participating in some type of procrastination...but I have definitely abused my right to ignore work. I could probably do a lot better quality of work if I didn't always wait til the last minute. But I digress, my ability to bullshit through anything and everything has allowed me to continue this bad habit. This is especially true with ASu...love going to the basketball games, but gotta make sure to post up by someone who doesn't get excited over every little thing. ASu is for sure gonna stomp Uofa this year...sorry Eazzy.
Saturday headed out to Mill to walk around the shops and bars but it was completely deserted due to the Uofa v. ASu football game. So me and some friends headed over
Last thing I want to say for the night is: Lil Wayne! I know most people love dudes commercial stuff...but I definitely think that his tru hit's are coming from his mixtape's. Da Drought Is Over 6 could easily replace The Carter 3 and have still gained Weezey a million plus record sales. I just think that his Da Drought series has more lyrical content compared to what is found on The Carter 3. So if you don't have it yet...head on over to whatchaknowbout.wordpress.com and download it for free.

BET...
...is terrible when it comes to music, but i have to give it to the BET awards for providing an insane amount of diversity and talent that was involved in their Cypher interludes.
I had to post the one featuring Ace Hood and Fabolous for my boy Eazzy(Gooduh). It's funny that Ace Hood doesn't sound like the usual commercial rapper in this verse. He actually sounds somewhat listenable...but not really. Also, Sarah Palin line by fabolous is dope...not to sure if anyone in the entourage actually understood it but that didn't keep they from ooooooing.
So for the last two months I have been looking for a house to purchase, mainly because their are so many foreclosures that buying a house is the only smart thing to do. And this thursday we are going with the realtor to look at some houses, so it's gonne be crazy looking at something that could possibly be my first owned home.
If anyone has any interest in good music please head over to whatchaknowbout.wordpress.com and download the Colin Munroe mixtape...it's ridiculous.

The Welcome
First off allow me to introduce myself, my name is Cardo. I find myself compelled to do something with the vast amount of time that I usually spend doing nothing. So I have finally convinced myself to commit to a blog. I really don't have intentions on accomplishing anything, other then entertaining myself and others.
I would like to officially start this blog with a quick submission on a problem that has bothered a lot of people in Arizona...which is our states lack of legitimate clothing shops. Having to constantly shop online(sometimes till four in the morning on Black Friday) for clothes is like a constant reminder that our state is for the lames when it comes to fashion. I mean we have stolen enough ideas and trends from L.A., why is it so difficult for one legitimate streetwear shop to open a store in Arizona. The closest resemblance of such a thing would be Lifted...which went out of business...but not because of a lack of a market. They failed because they were simps when it came to advertising and exploiting the market.
On a side note...Black Friday was a giant bust! I walked away with a mere two shirts and a clean new pair of DC high tops. The best part of the day was watchin all the people argue and rush to grab clothing for an extra 20% off.
I would also like to throw in a plug for a person that may have inspired me to start this: first official shameless plug goes out to my boy at whatchaknowbout.wordpress.com...one of the better blogs to visit if you're in search of some good music. Check it out and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. You can also check out his personal blog at ifound20dollars.blogspot.com. I would also like to mention Karmaloop.com...simply for the fact that they have allowed me to continue looking proper with their huge stock of street wear and underground clothing brands. They are definitely worth a look if your shop venues are limited and uninspiring.
Thank you and Goodnight
